Video: Drunk man at Disney California Adventure fighting security and guests

In the video, we see a drunk angry man throwing punches at a Disneyland Resort security guard and guests. I have to think to myself, “why?” You are at California Adventure,  it’s not like you’re making the rounds at your local pub. Anyway, he gets pepper sprayed in the face and we get some funny commentary from the guys filming. I think this guy has been drinking vodka 😉

Like the people in the video, I don’t understand why it takes security so long to get here. I would imagine this hardly ever happens.

This is partly the reason why the Magic Kingdom is a dry park. I have seen many videos of people doing stupid things while drunk at Disney World. Like this guy.

  1. It seems that he was calming down until the guy sprayed him again. Drunk people don’t always understand commands like”get down” I really think he was trying to figure out why his eyeballs hurt. The guests that were yelling seemed to be taunting him. This whole incident could have been handled so much better! Talking calmly and leading them to the place you want them, works much better than continually spraying them with pepper spray. His punching outburst looked as if it was provoked by the unnecessary burst of pepper spray.

  2. I was trying to get over to Tower of Terror that day but they closed off a good area around the incident. The staff would not explain to guests why the area was closed. Disneyland needs to have a faster response times to incidents like these. They should have a handful of real officers patrolling the park. If this guy was a younger stronger individual that security officer could have been seriously hurt.

  3. you can get a mixed drink at dca i’ve had a martinni while having lunch with the princesses and you can also go up stairs to the cove bar if you want a mixed drink

  4. Is this a public broadcast segmant for AA?

Guess what? No Booze No Problem!

Didn’t they just have an incident where a drunk underaged kid fell out of seat in the Tower of Terror ride!

They should serve a cocktail called the “Tower of Terror” before you go on the ride!
If you live live, you get a “T” Shirt” that says ” I think I survived the Tower of Terror, but I can’t remember!

    What’s it gonna take Disney?

  5. Scary that security took so long, even during the pepper spraying he did not tell anyone to get back. The guest were not protected. Disney needs to do a better job!

  6. haha, I think I found the woman yelling was more annoying than the drunk. Yeah about the kids, while you and your friends keep swearing into the camera.

The one part I do agree with though, is where WAS that security? They put so much effort at the front gates, but no one appears during that whole event. It shouldn’t have required visitors to restrain him.

  7. Unfortunately, this is not the first “drunk” person I’ve seen over at Disney’s California Adventure. I enjoy a beer or cocktail….but I go to DTD to do so. I’ve never been a fan of alcohol being sold in the park. Watching this video makes me think the security staff needs to taught some self defense & proper take down techniques to keep them safe as well as the public. Nice to see some spectators step up to help!!

  8. This is not at Disneyland. It is in front of the Tower of Terror at Disney’s California Adventure. Disneyland is also a dry park with the exception of the exclusive Club 33. Also, you cannot buy mixed drinks in DCA so if it is vodka he either brought it himself or drank before he went in!
