There was a surprise yesterday for certain passengers who rode Epcot’s Frozen Ever After attraction. The Frozen ride is a popular attraction in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. Instead of singing “Let It Go” to Disney guests, the Elsa animatronic was giving fans a show with an amusing malfunction.
A Twitter user (@christier0408) took a video of her experience when she came across a malfunctioning animatronic. The boat ride takes passengers to Elsa’s ice palace. However, this boat journey led guests to a silent Elsa who merely waved. You can watch the Elsa animatronic below.
Even Elsa is tired of singing Let it Go. I’m dying over the hand gesture 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/zkS8j4qbYE

The Twitter account user and other passengers were quick to report their ride experience. Seeing Elsa’s animatronic is a highlight of Frozen Ever After. But no one expects to see her in such a unusual state! Her dismissive wave is quite different from her usual characterization on Frozen Ever After.
Also, this is not the first time a Disney attraction had such a malfunction. Other animatronics have had issues in Disney World’s past. For instance, the José Carioca animatronic fell down at Epcot several weeks ago.
