will be the host to an incredible auction full of vintage Disneyland Memorabilia. The Exhibition which begins February 7, 2015 will be available to the public at their Sherman Oaks location – 13613 Ventura Blvd – (818) 788-2357. The Van Eaton Galleries is open Monday thru Saturday – 10 am to 5 pm from February 7th to the 27th. Catalogs full of incredible and one of a kind items are available for pre-order by clicking the link below.
Memorabilia will include one of kind items including many from Disneyland’s opening day, July 17, 1955. Park blueprints, costumes, as well as big ticket items like a skeleton from Pirates of the Caribbean are just a few of the items available. The collector, who chose to remain anonymous spent over 30 years enmassing this amazing collection.
“The breadth of this vintage collection and the rarity of the memorabilia are a true testament to the genius of Walt Disney,” gallery founder and President Mike Van Eaton says in a statement. “It tells the story of Disneyland from the beginning like we have never seen before, and I am sure we won’t ever see again.”
This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Disneyland addicts to get their hands on some incredible collection pieces. I think I need to work overtime to be able to bid on a few of my favorites.
Stay tuned for pictures and follow up article next week when I take a tour of the galleries and check out the auction pieces. Can’t wait? Order your catalog from Van Eaton Galleries.
