“Vacation Fun” Closing Soon for Refurbishment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie is officially set to close for refurbishment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with its final day of operation scheduled for April 28, 2026. The attraction will go dark starting April 29, and while Disney has confirmed it will return, the only timeline given so far is a vague “later this year.”

Located near Echo Lake, this charming indoor show has been a colorful celebration of Mickey and Minnie’s wild vacation adventures. The short blends brand-new animation with clips from fan-favorite Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts like “Potatoland,” “Croissant de Triomphe,” and “Yodelburg,” creating a fast-paced, laugh-filled escape that has been a great break from the Florida heat. It’s also been a sneaky good crowd-relief spot for guests looking to recharge between thrill rides.
