Walt Disney World has announced that the Once Upon a Time castle projection show will be under refurbishment starting tomorrow through March 9. The Wishes fireworks show will continue to run during that time.
The reason for the Once Upon Time Refurbishment is not known but it is speculated to be related to preparations for the upcoming “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular which is being described as featuring “state of the art projection mapping technology.” It may be Disney is taking this time to upgrade the projection equipment. The new show is scheduled to debut May 12.
Once Upon a Time debuted in November 2016 and is based on a similar show at Tokyo Disneyland. The first projection mapping show at Cinderella Castle was “The Magic, The Memories, and You” and premiered in 2011.

Not a big fan of it to be honest! I saw it for the first time last week and really enjoyed it but the second time I was already kind of bored with it ? I just don’t feel the same Magic every time like I did with celebrate the magic
