The Liberty Square Riverboat is still down for refurbishment, but we do have some pictures of the current progress. Looks as though they are working on the riverway.
Over in the Magic Kingdom, the Liberty Square Riverboat has been going through a refurbishment that was originally scheduled for January 8th through to July 19th. Well, it looks like the Liberty Square Riverboat refurbishment has been extended through the fall of 2018. No exact reopening date yet.
This extended refurbishment will cancel any reservations made for Tiana’s Riverboat Party – Ice Cream Social & Viewing Party. This was a favorite for Tiana fans. Guests are able to board the riverboat to enjoy an incredible birds-eye-view parade viewing for the park’s “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade” and a cruise around Tom Sawyer’s Island. Princess Tiana and Naveen will join the group on the Liberty Belle Riverboat after the parade concludes for photos.
Taking a cruise on the Riverboat is always a nice relaxing break during a long park day. Take off on a scenic half-mile adventure into the wilds of old America aboard a steam-powered paddler wheeler. Board the Colonial-American-inspired, 3-tiered Liberty Belle riverboat nestled in the heart of Liberty Square and embark on a relaxing journey around Tom Sawyer Island along the Rivers of America.
Still no word has when it will re-open. All we have been told is late fall. We will keep you updated!
