We have an update on bars reopening at Walt Disney World this morning.
Recently the state of Florida issued an order suspending on-premises consumption of alcohol at bars stateside.
Effective immediately, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation is suspending on premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide.

With the new order in place, locations like Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar had to close, and it jeopardized the reopening of fan-favorite spots like Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars Galaxy Edge at Hollywood Studios on July 15th.
On July 1st the State of Florida amended the order to allow places that sold both food & alcohol to operate at 50% capacity.
So that means that Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar can reopen again since they do offer food, and locations like Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars Galaxy Edge will also be open when Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopens next week!
While your favorite watering hole will not be packed with people, at least you will be able to enjoy a tasty beverage the next time you are at the Disney Parks, Resorts or Disney Springs!
