The creative Disney Food and Beverage team is offering guests extra special culinary events filled with delicious cuisine prepared by award winning chefs. Take a look below at some of these exclusive appetizing occasions.
Delicious Disney Dining Series
On May 31, the next chapter of the Disney Dinning Series continues at Markham’s at Golden Oak. This Disney storytelling dining event will celebrate the anniversary of the 1932 Silly Symphonies “Flowers and Trees” cartoon produced by Walt Disney. Park Events Operations’ Chef John Clark and his team will be creating alongside Golden Oak Chef Phillip Ponticelli. Disney’s residential home community, Golden Oak, is home to Markham’s. This restaurant is one of only three on Disney property designated as Signature Plus (Victoria and Alberts and California Grill being the other two).
Additional events in the Disney Dining Series include
- A culinary tribute to the 10th anniversary of the Disney•Pixar film “Ratatouille” with Chef Dominique Filoni and his team from Cítricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at 6:30 p.m. June 28.
- A journey under the sea of exotic and exquisite tastes with Chef Timothy Majoras and team from Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk is 6:30 p.m. July 19.

July 4 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is celebrating America’s birthday with a cookout at the resort’s Summerhouse from 7-8:30 p.m. The fun doesn’t stop there as guests will then move to the resort’s marina to enjoy sweets while watching the Magic Kingdom‘s 4th of July fireworks. (If it rains, the event will move to the Grand Floridian Convention Center.)
The dinner includes grilled steak and shrimp with plenty of sides. Classic hot dogs and baked beans will also be served with specialty drinks, beer and wine. There’s a live DJ and crafts for kids throughout the evening.
Cost is $120 plus tax, gratuity is included; $59 ages 3 to 11. For reservations, 407-WDW-DINE.
Napa Rose Food and Wine Pairing Experience
Each week Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort offers one-hour culinary seminars. Every Saturday from 2 to 3 pm this award winning restaurant will introduce guests to three cheeses, two charcuterie-style tastes and five wines. Each seminar is $95 and can be booked by calling 714-781-3463.
