Up! Great Bird Adventure in the Animal Kingdom to temporarily close

Disney World has just announced that “UP! A Great Bird Adventure” will go on a break starting on September 8th through September 14th to allow for some updates to the show.

In UP! A Great Bird Adventure you can join Russell and his furry friend Dug on a flap-happy adventure sure to send spirits soaring. Led by a senior Wilderness Explorer, this unique birding experience features a close-up look at various bird species from around the globe.

The show was just updated just last year by adding Russell and Dug from UP to the mix.

No word on what the upcoming changes will be but we expect to see the updates on September 15th.

  1. Hopefully they bring back in more birds and a little less Russel and Doug. Don’t get me wrong, they are cool 8n the show, but there is too much of them and not enough animals.
