A fourth theme park is coming to the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida. Epic Universe was announced in 2019 and is set to be the largest Universal park in the US. Construction was halted in 2020 due to the pandemic but resumed in March of 2021.

Universal Studios’ parent company, Comcast, said in its fourth quarter earnings report that Epic Universe is going “full steam ahead,” with construction, and is on track to open by the summer of 2025.

The new theme Park will be located behind ICON Park in Orlando. Universal Orlando’s website describes Epic Universe as “The most immersive and innovative park we’ve ever created.”
