Universal Studios Hollywood Unveils Dead Deader Deadest Haunted House for Halloween Horror Nights

“Dead, Deader, Deadest” Brings a Zombie Funeral Home to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood

The dead are refusing to stay buried at Universal Studios Hollywood, where a new original haunted house called “Dead, Deader, Deadest” has joined the Halloween Horror Nights lineup. The house sends guests inside the Deville Family Funeral Home, where a new product called Ambrotox promises to restore the appearance of the deceased without the need for traditional embalming.

Naturally, this miracle product goes horribly wrong. Instead of simply giving the dearly departed a fresher look, Ambrotox reanimates a century’s worth of corpses and unleashes them throughout the funeral home. Guests will have to make their way through the building while zombies from multiple generations rise from their resting places and turn the family business into a full-blown grave mistake.

“Dead, Deader, Deadest” adds another original nightmare to the growing Halloween Horror Nights lineup at Universal Studios Hollywood. Previously announced haunted houses include “Sinners,” “Stranger Things,” “Hellraiser,” and “Evil Dead Burn,” giving this year’s event a mix of major horror franchises and new stories created specifically for the event.
