We are getting closer and closer to the opening of Universal’s Jurassic World VelociCoaster. The newest thrill ride is set to open this summer. VelociCoaster has been testing and Amusement Insider has taken video of the ride testing at night.
We love how this roller coaster looks at night! The blue lights really pop. We reported the walls being removed and since then you get such a great view of the details inside.

The lights are also on outside of the VelociCoaster. Set around what’s supposed to be the paddock area, are red lights at each section.
Also, new this week is the official VelociCoaster sign! Universal put up the signage for the coaster this week and we are obsessed with the details. This looks exactly like the ride signage in the Jurassic World films. You see a glimpse of it during the Gyrosphere scene.
If all of these are the details we can see so far I can’t wait to see the epic details inside the actual ride. Stay tuned for all the latest VelociCoaster news and updates. We will be updating often especially when we finally get that official opening date!
