Everyone strives to eat better and lose weight in the new year. The diets start on January 1st and are promptly broken at the first sight of a cookie. Why not skip the dieting and “treat-yo-self”! Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen has some fantastic milkshakes that will allow you to indulge. Because you’re on vacation and calories don’t count! My personal favorite is the “Heavenly Hazelnut” – Nutella ice cream topped with hazelnuts, Nutella spread, cocoa powder and fresh whipped cream! Yum!

With over 100 restaurant options in the parks and at Citywalk, you can scratch “learn to cook” off your list too. Universal Orlando has you covered with everything from steak to seafood, Italian to Pacific Island, and everything in between. Pull up a seat and browse the menu, and let someone else do the cooking!
Spend More Time On What Really Matters
Roller coasters of course! Nothing says “me” time like hopping on your favorite coaster for a spin, or two! Leave your worries, and the scaredy-cats of your family, behind as you focus on screaming your head off on your favorite coaster.
Get More Exercise
Aside from eating right, the top resolution each year is to exercise more. Universal Orlando Resorts wants to encourage you to kick back and put your feet up instead! You’ve been walking those theme parks all day and you’ve earned a little R&R. Grab your favorite drink (preferably one with an umbrella in it) and hit the pool deck. Sweating by the pool sounds more fun than sweating in the gym.
Make a Budget
Penny pinching gets thrown out the window when you’re on vacation. Of course, you need that light-up souvenir cup! Buy your kid the lollipop that’s bigger than his head! This is how memories are made!
Face Your Fears
Ok, Universal Orlando Resort is actually encouraging you to keep this resolution. It’s annual Halloween Horror Nights will encourage you to not only face your fears but, get up-close-and-personal with them too.
