A New Single-Attraction Express Pass Option Is Being Rolled Out at Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort is quietly experimenting with a brand-new way to skip the lines at some fan-favorite attractions without needing to purchase a full Express Pass! Guests can now purchase Universal Express Single Attraction Access for select rides directly in the Universal Orlando Resort app under the Special Offers section.

This limited-time option allows guests to pay a smaller fee to bypass the regular queue at one specific attraction instead of committing to a full Express Pass upgrade for the day. Pricing currently sits at $24.99 per ride for the two attractions available, with availability shown in-app and valid only for same-day use.
At this time, the feature appears to be available for two attractions:
- Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida
- Skull Island: Reign of Kong at Universal’s Islands of Adventure
According to the app, these offers are first-come, first-served with limited capacity, meaning quantities will likely sell out early in the day. QR codes promoting the offer have also begun appearing outside eligible attractions, allowing guests to scan and purchase right from their phones.
Universal has not yet announced if or when this feature will expand to additional rides, but the move signals a major test in on-demand, ride-specific Express access — potentially offering more flexibility (and affordability) for guests looking to skip a single long wait without splurging on a full Express upgrade.

So far, the feature is day-of only, with no option to pre-purchase in advance, with no word on if the single-day express will be available every day or if they will eventually be made available in advance.
Whether this single-ride Express option becomes a permanent offering remains to be seen, but it’s clear Universal is exploring new ways to help guests “fast-forward to amazing” one ride at a time.
