Universal Studios Orlando Halts Drone Component of Nightly Show Amid Safety Concerns

The announcement comes shortly after a drone mishap at a holiday show in downtown Orlando. During the Lake Eola event, drones fell mid-performance, injuring 7-year-old Alezander Edgerton, who required open-heart surgery. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident.

Universal has previously grounded drones due to weather, and there is no confirmation if safety concerns following the Lake Eola accident influenced this decision. For now, Cinesational continues to entertain guests nightly, minus its drone display.
