Universal Parks & Resorts have re-branded under the Universal Destinations & Experiences moniker.
Universal Parks & Resorts will now be known as Universal Destinations & Experiences. This update was announced today by Universal Parks & Resorts president Mark Woodbury during a video shared with team members. Universal Orlando Resort’s Twitter page later publically announced the change.

The updated name reflects the direction of the division, with Click Orlando quoting Woodbury as stating “We are thrilled to expand how we bring the Universal brand to life in new, immersive, and compelling ways for fans around the world using our rich collection of stories, characters, and franchises.”

Universal Destinations & Experiences has expanded its Central Florida footprint in recent years. Volcano Bay water park opened in 2017, and a third theme park gate, Epic Universe, is slated to open in the Summer of 2025.
Expansion in other areas of Universal Destinations & Experiences includes the opening of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood and the upcoming addition of a new theme park in Fresno, Texas geared towards children aged 3 to 11.
