Celebrate 50 Years of JAWS with Special Screenings at Universal CityWalk Hollywood
Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the movies… Universal CityWalk Hollywood is inviting guests to celebrate the 50th anniversary of JAWS with a limited-time theatrical engagement at Universal Cinema, an AMC® Theatre. From August 28 through September 4, moviegoers can relive Steven Spielberg’s iconic thriller that changed the summer blockbuster forever.

The screenings are extra special thanks to Universal Cinema’s cutting-edge technology. The venue is the only theater in the world to feature both a six-story 70MM IMAX® with 4K laser projection and AMC PRIME®, which boasts 4K laser projection, enhanced acoustics, and heated recliner seats with subwoofers built right in. In other words, you’ll feel the suspense of John Williams’ legendary score in your bones.
Guests can also take advantage of a special parking deal during the run. With the purchase of a movie ticket, $5 parking is available via rebate on General Parking at CityWalk. Just present your parking receipt at the Universal Cinema ticket window for redemption.
And because no blockbuster is complete without dinner and a show, CityWalk offers more than 20 dining options to complete the night. Grab a shake at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, feast at VIVO Italian Kitchen or Antojitos Cocina Mexicana, or cheer with friends at NBC Sports Grill & Brew.
