The recent uptake in confirmed COVID-19 cases has led to a change-up at Disney Springs. The state of Florida reported nearly 9,000 new coronavirus cases on Friday, June 26, 2020. As a result of the record-breaking numbers, the Uniqlo store in Disney Springs decided to temporarily close their doors for the sake of their employees and customers. Even though Disney Springs is still open, Uniqlo is choosing to stay closed for the time being due to health and safety concerns.
Uniqlo is a casual wear fashion retail store. The store is located near the Lime Garage in Disney Springs. For those planning to visit Disney Springs in the near future, please be aware that Uniqlo has decided to close in wake of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases. They are an independent retailer, so they are well within their rights to decide to do this.
As always, if you are planning to visit a specific store or restaurant during this time period, we encourage that you double check to confirm if they are open and what their hours are. The independent retailers in Disney Springs reserve the right to close, so more stores could possibly follow after Uniqlo. If we hear of any further temporary closures, we will keep all of you updated.
