We recently brought you news of a new virtual reality experience Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire coming to both Walt Disney World‘s Disney Springs and Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District. This new immersive experience will allow guests to move freely and interact with Star Wars characters throughout a virtual world.
Unfortunately sometimes bringing in new attractions means saying goodbye to others. In this case, Disneyland Resort announced it will be closing the doors of two shops in the Downtown Disney District. Disney Vault 28 a Disney-inspired women’s fashion boutique, and Fossil, a watch and accessories shop. No official closing date has been released, but both shops are expected to close at the end of September.
Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire is also coming to Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, although a location has not been announced. Will you miss the shops leaving Downtown Disney or are you excited for the new virtual reality experience coming? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
