Try The Spooky Good 'Oogie Boogie' Frappuccino Now At Starbucks

Try The Spooky Good ‘Oogie Boogie’ Frappuccino Now At Starbucks. As you know, we L-O-V-E any and all things Disney, especially when it comes to food and drinks! This week, we discovered the Oogie Boogie Frappuccino, presented by totallythebomb.com.

The new character themed drink is inspired by one of the foulest villains in the Disney-verse, Oogie Boogie, from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.

Before giving you the recipe, I do have to say, normally I am not a coffee drinker. I tend to stick to Teas and Refreshers when visiting the local Starbucks locations, but this might be a game changer. I found the flavor refreshingly delicious and didn’t feel the urge to mix in the whipped cream like I normally would with coffee. The Frappuccino would slowly blend with the whipped cream on the bottom, making it smooth and creamy to taste. I’m honestly drooling thinking about it again.

The Oogie Boogie Frappuccino definitely looks like Oogie Boogie, with that creamy, light brown, burlap color and little bits of java chips that resemble the creepy crawlies that make up Oogie Boogie’s interior. The matcha powder on top is what really takes the cake, and gives the drink some liveliness. I would be lying if I said I didn’t dip my finger to scoop up and taste some of the whipped cream with the matcha and java chips on top. MmMmm…

Alright, so here is the recipe for the Oogie Boogie Secret Menu Item from Starbucks:

Choose your drink size (I went with a Venti). Ask for a “White Mocha, Java Chip Frappuccino” with Whipped Cream on the bottom and a few whole Java Chips on top of the Whipped Cream base. Then top with Whipped Cream, with a dusting of Matcha and Cookie Crumbles (or more Java Chips if the Cookie Crumble is not available).

It may seem like a mouthful, but here is how you would present it to the barista:

“Hi There! Can I get a Venti White Mocha, Java Chip Frappuccino with Whipped Cream topped with Java Chips on the bottom of the cup. I would also like Whipped Cream on top, dusted with Matcha Powder and Cookie Crumble (or Java Chips), please. Thank you!”

This Frappuccino was so delicious I had to stop taking sips so I could get some great photos of the drink! Needless to say this was gone in a flash and worth every penny. If you are planning on visiting Starbucks soon I highly recommend the Oogie Boogie Frappuccino, and if you are going with someone else you can also try the Jack Skellington Frappuccino.
