The risk of tornadoes will significantly increase on Sunday and persist through Monday, posing a significant threat to the region, including the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney officials are closely monitoring the storm’s progress and are taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

As of the latest update, Tropical Storm Debby is located approximately 195 miles south-southwest of Tampa, Florida. The storm’s slow movement is raising concerns about prolonged heavy rainfall and potential flooding in affected areas, including those surrounding Walt Disney World.

Authorities are closely monitoring the storm’s progress and urge residents and visitors to stay informed about the latest updates and follow any evacuation orders or safety guidelines issued by local officials. Walt Disney World has also advised guests to check for any operational changes or updates on their website or app as the storm approaches.
