Virtual queue will be in place for TRON during the Halloween and Christmas parties at Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party both provide immersive theming, lower than normal crowd levels, and the opportunity to hop on myriad popular attractions with little wait. Attendees looking to catch a ride on the new TRON Lightcycle Run may be disappointed to learn the attraction will utilize a virtual queue during the parties.

TRON Lightcycle Run, based on the popular TRON film franchise, has garnered significant attention since its announcement. The ride offers guests an exhilarating experience as they board their own lightcycles and race through the grid. To help manage queue length, Disney implemented a virtual queue system for the attraction. The virtual queues require guests to reserve a spot in line in advance, with only a limited number of virtual queues being offered. The virtual queue will open for party quests at 6 pm. and each attendee will only be able to utilize the queue once.
Many guests may have concerns about the virtual queue system impacting their ability to experience TRON Lightcycle Run during the parties. The expectation of shorter wait times has been a significant draw for attending these events, and many may be looking toward the parties as an opportunity to catch several rides on the new coaster.
