The new TRON Legacy inspired attraction will be located at Magic Kingdom Park in Tomorrowland. Nestled behind Tomorrowland Speedway and Space Mountain, this lively and thrilling coaster is sure to be a new icon in the ever evolving theme park.

A formal name for the attraction has yet to be announced, but the track is coming together nicely and we see a significant addition every other day as construction continues at the park.

Though the track is coming together quickly, there is still a ton of work left to be done on the attraction even after the track itself is completed.

Since the Tomorrowland TRON Attraction is going to be a carbon copy of the TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai Disneyland, we can expect to see a large, futuristic styled canopy being built soon after the track is finished. The canopy will cover most of the attraction and at night will glow with the iconic blue hue of “The Grid” as seen in TRON Legacy.

Construction can be seen at various points within Magic Kingdom Park and from the roadways that surround the theme park. Disney has also placed a fun billboard for the attraction just outside the construction zone near the closed Walt Disney World Railroad, which will open again once construction for the coaster has finished.

Anticipation amongst fans is high for the new attract that is modeled after the TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland. We can’t wait to hop on the lightcycles and enjoy this highly rated attraction once they power up ‘The Grid’ in 2021!
