Friday we got to step back into Walt Disney World and we attended Magic Kingdom’s annual passholder preview. One of the things we couldn’t wait to see was the progress of the Tron coaster that’s currently being built. We recently shared an aerial view of the progress.
There seems to have been a lot done on the outer wall structure. This ride will have both indoor and outdoor elements to it. It’s official name is “Tron Lightcycle Run”.
There seems to be some new structure being built on the side. We can’t wait to find out more about this amazing coaster.
The Tron coaster is set to open next year for Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary. It sits in Tomorrowland near Space Mountain. There is also a version of this coaster that debuted in Shanghai in 2016 when the park opened. Keep following along for more updates! We can’t wait to see this one complete.
