Guests visiting Walt Disney World today will want to keep an eye on the sky’s. The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Central Florida, including the area that Walt Disney World calls home.

The Tornado Watch coincides with a wind advisory and is in effect until 9 p.m. The Orlando Sentinel notes the storm that is moving into Central Florida has already caused damaging winds and spawned several tornadoes as it moved across the state’s panhandle.

The National Weather Service releases a tornado watch when tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area. The watch would be upgraded to a tornado warning when a tornado has been sighted or indicated by weather radar.
