“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”
If you think it’s not Christmas without snow, you’re in luck…there is Magic on the streets of MainStreet U.S.A. during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
We previously discussed the 5 things you should know for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and you’ll find that his Christmas party follows suit.
Once you enter the park and grab your map you’re ready to hit the ground running!
Stop #1: Merchandise pit-stop. You don’t have time to shop till you drop, grab your special event merchandise and keep moving. If you have your eye on a T-shirt or sweatshirt and can’t find your size, ask a cast member; they will check the stockroom and you can be on your way. Don’t forget you can have your souveniers shipped to your Disney resort, or to the front of the park where you can grab them on your way out…no need to carry!
Stop #2: Cookies and Cocoa. Need I say more? Check the map for your route to delicious holiday cookies and cocoa. The cookies are addicting and there are a LOT of cookie stations…pace yourselves!
Stop #3: Characters! Look for your favorite pals bundled up in Winter Wonderland wear. Characters are usually available at meet & greets from 7-11:30. Keep your eyes peeled for all your friends at the character dance parties throughout the park.
Stop #4: The parade-This is one of my favorite parades, the floats are decadently decorated and there’s just something about those wooden soldiers! There are normally two parades and of course the later parade is always less crowded.
Stop #5: Holiday Wishes-There is usually only one fireworks show and the fireworks alone are worth the price of admission. Don’t miss it! They are best viewed from in front of the castle, and everyone will be trying to cram in, so get there early to get yourself a spot or spring for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party.
Remember to keep your event map handy so you don’t miss any of the festivities and it might be a good idea to set phone alarms for the parade and fireworks so you don’t miss them!

We love MNNSHP so I know MVMCP would be fabulous. I love the idea of cocoa and cookies. Oh yes and snow at WDW!!!!! How magical is that. I can’t wait to go! I bet the holiday fireworks are unbelievable.
I went to this party once and loved it. If you are gluten intolerant do NOT try the gluten free cookies, they make cardboard seem tasty. If you really need cookies, bring your own.
I loved the parade, the fireworks, the whole event and hope to get to go to it again.

I agree with tip #1…… It really stinks having to carry around a bunch merchandise!
