It might be a while before we see Tom Holland suit up again as Spider-Man.
The 25-year-old actor has been on movie and TV sets for a few years now, but even he needs to to take a break from acting. Tom Holland made it clear he’s taking a break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a while:
“I am going back to shoot a TV show for Apple, which I’m really excited about… But I can confidently say that after I finish that TV show, I will be taking a break.”
—Tom Holland

The actor has appeared in six Marvel Cinematic Universe movies since 2016. The Spider-Man actor has been quite busy, so it’s understandable if he needs a break from filming!
The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and Marisa Tomei all reprising their roles from the previous Spidey films, with Benedict Cumberbatch joining the fray as Doctor Strange (but maybe don’t call him “Stephen,” that’s weird). Joining the cast to reprise their roles are Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Macguire. The film is directed by Jon Watts, and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers; the film is produced by Kevin and Feige Amy Pascal, and executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach.
