Disney Legend Tom Hanks is in talks to play Geppetto in Disney’s Live-Action Pinocchio.
According to Deadline Academy Award winner Tom Hanks is in early talks to take on the role of Geppetto in Robert Zemeckis’ Live-Action version of the Disney film.
Hanks reportedly read the script and reached out to Zemeckis to tell him that he’d like to take on the part of Pinocchio’s father and creator Geppetto.
Disney reportedly wanted Hanks for the part in a previous attempt to reboot Pinocchio so his interest in this new film is a dream come true for the powers that be.
No other details have been released at this time.
