Tokyo Disney Resort Getting a New Toy Story Hotel

Tokyo Disney Resort is getting a NEW Toy Story Hotel! This morning Toyko Disney Resort announced that a Toy Story inspired Disney Resort is coming to Tokyo in 2021!  The official name for the resort hasn’t been announced, but a TOY STORY RESORT?!!! Getting my passport now…

This is the second Toy Story resort to come out(the first is in Shanghai Disney). The new Toyko resort will be part of the DisneySea expansion in 2020. The new hotel will have around 600 rooms and span 11 floors with a restaurant, shops, and lots of fun family interactions. It is described as a “value-type resort” with a casual atmosphere.

Tokyo Disney only has one other value options resort, the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel that opened back in 2016.  The new resort will be an entirely new build and add more selection to guests visiting the park.  It is estimated it will cost approximately 31.5 billion yen($272,207,993.00USD) to build.
