Tim Allen‘s ‘Last Man Standing‘ Ending After Season 9. Originally airing on ABC in 2011, Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen quickly became one of the highest rated shows for the popular TV network. The series made the move to Fox after reports were shared that ABC refused to help fund the series for the 7th season. Since then the series has been thriving on Fox, but as all good things it must come to an end. Fox and the cast shared the news this week that Last Man Standing will feature its final episodes in Season 9.

Tim Allen shared the news via Twitter with a new promotional photo along with the caption, “Feeling very lucky and bitter sweet. #Grateful”

He went on to write a second tweet about the final season sharing, “So hard to express how cool it’s been to be a part of this near decade long creation. Our final year… damn. You are going to love the what we are planning! Shooting as I type.”

“Last Man Standing follows Mike Baxter, a senior executive and director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods store chain based in Denver, Colorado. His home life is initially filled with his wife, three daughters, and a grandson, but later extends to the young men who are married to or dating his daughters.”
