Tiffany Haddish Cast in ‘Sister Act 3’ Which Will Premiere in Theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access. Tiffany Haddish has officially been cast in the upcoming Sister Act sequel, which will see the return of Whoopi Goldberg, Wendy Mckenna, and Kathy Najimy. News of the casting and a first look at the films teaser poster comes from the RuPaul’s Drag Race Family Facebook page, which shared the poster along with the caption:

“SISTER ACT 3: KICKING THE HABIT will hit cinemas and Disney+ in 2022 with Tiffany Haddish set to join the castHaddish is set to play the famous niece of Whoopi Goldberg’s ‘Deloris Van Cartier’ who comes to her aunt for help when she gets involved with some very dangerous people. Deloris once again calls on her friends to help hide her highly conspicuous niece. But with the press and gangsters on her tail, how long can she keep a low profile, especially in the age of social media Wendy Mckenna and Kathy Najimy are set to reprise their roles as Mother Superior Sister Mary Robert and Sister Mary Patrick with Maggie Smith and Betty White set to be involved in cameos“

The new poster also confirms the movie will be released both in theaters and via Disney+ Premier Access at a to be determined date. Several upcoming titles are said to release first in theaters, with a soon-to-follow debut on Disney+ Premier Access. It is currently unknown if Sister Act 3 will premiere simultaneously or on staggered release dates.
