Three days of special events planned for the Disney Wish
Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Wish, has received approval to arrive at Port Canaveral on June 20, 2022. Port Canaveral commissioners also unanimously approved three days of special events for the new ship.

The Disney Wish’s premiere arrival at Port Canaveral will take place on June 20 between 4 am and 7 am. From June 16 to 28, Disney Cruise Line will be hosting rehearsals for a christening ceremony. The company will install technical and structural elements at the terminal that include bleachers, stage, audio towers, light towers, video walls, generators, tents, and special effects. The christening ceremony will then take place on June 29.
That same day, the ship will set off on a cruise for media and travel experts.

The third and final event date is July 14, 2022. That is the day of the Disney Wish’s maiden voyage. A water salute will be included with the maiden voyage.
