This is American Idol at Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa

Attention American Idol fans, get ready for the new season! The show will be filming the showcase rounds from none other than Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa. Aulani is located in Ko Olina Hawai’i. The new season of ABC’s hit show will be broadcasting on February 16th, 8 pm-10 pm EST. The Show is set for a Sunday/Monday Schedule.  Long loved American Idol is getting ready to start its 18th season in production. It will be the third season in production with ABC, a Disney owned network. It seems only fitting that they would partner with one of Disney’s most dazzling resorts for some of their production.

Disney’s award-winning resort Aulani sits in an exotic tropical paradise with over 20 acres of breathtaking ocean views. It will bring inspiration to the contestants cultivating their craft, while getting in touch with nature, and all that Hawai’i has to offer. It will give viewers a chance to see this magical resort and picturesque views while listening to these talented contestants try to earn their spot at the top of this musical competition. 

Pop sensation, Katy Perry, multi-grammy award winner, Lionel Riche, and country star, Luke Bryan are returning as judges this season.  Ryan Seacrest will be returning to the stage as he has since the show’s conception, as host. Bobby Bones, a famous Radio Personality will serve as a mentor for the show. Get ready to pick your favorite artist, and cast your vote! Because “This is American Idol”.
