Another Disney location is up on the chopping block… The Void in Disney Springs is closing due to COVID-19.
This information was posted on their website:
UPDATE: Our terminals are remaining temporarily closed for everybody’s safety and to support our local health officials and government leaders. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our travelers with our reopening plans as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are here to help you reschedule any pre-booked tickets and offer an additional experience of your choosing. Please contact support@thevoid.com to receive your credit toward an additional experience in lieu of a refund.
Please continue to follow federal, state, and local guidelines to remain safe and healthy.
Sincerely,
Your VOID Team
Reports online are saying that this is a permanent closure and not temporary.
Employees were emailed to “to seek out new employment given the uncertainty of the short-term future.”
The Disney Springs website shows The Void as temporarily unavailable…
Disneyland closed The Void in Downtown Disney back in July with no information on if they would reopen.
As soon as we have more information on if this is a permanent closure we will share the news here on Chip and Co.
