The Simpsons Are Coming to Disney's Freeform and Disney+

The Simpsons Are Coming to Disney’s Freeform and Disney+. Don’t worry though, you can still find The Simpsons on Fox.

Freeform welcomes the Simpson family as America’s longest-running sitcom and will begin to air on the network starting this September. Viewers will be able to enjoy episodes from all 30 seasons of the dysfunctional and hilarious adventures of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the array of quirky supporting characters living in the misfit city of Springfield.

Currently in its 30th season, “The Simpsons” is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Matt Groening and developed by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Sam Simon. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are executive producers. Air dates will be announced at a later date.

The Simpsons has been picked up by Fox for a 31st and 32nd season and will air new episodes on its home channel, FOX. Freeform will air previous episodes of the long running series from the first 30 seasons. With such a spread of episode to choose from, the two networks [Disney and Fox] do not feel the channels will compete for viewers since they are targeted at different demographics and audiences.

You can also watch the first 30 seasons of The Simpsons anytime via Disney+ when it launches in November 2019.

  2. Oh, my family would love this! I’ve stopped watching it years ago, but I would like to start again. #DisneyVacayGiveaway

  3. The Simpsons are as old as I am! haha. They’re the longest running animated TV show, i believe. I used to watch it all the time growing up, but as I got into adulthood I stopped. I grew up with it though, so being Disney+ is allowing us to watch all 30 seasons, I may just watch them. I don’t even think I saw the first season, so it’ll be cool to start fresh & see how much the show has changed over the years. It will take forever lol, but nothing’s impossible if you believe! 🙂 #DisneyVacayGiveaway
