The Screen Actors Guild Awards have released their nominations for 2019!

The Screen Actors Guild Awards have released their nominations for 2019.  Often seen as a path leading to the Oscars makes these nominations important.  2019 looks like it might be starting off with a bang for quite a few actors and actresses; but for Disney addicts like us, we are excited for a few of the nominees listed!

Topping the lead for nominations, with two each, are actresses Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, and Emma Stone.  Amy Adams gained nominations for her role on HBO’s Sharp Objects and for her supporting role in Vice.  Emily Blunt gained nominations for her supporting role in A Quiet Place and for her leading role in Mary Poppins Returns.  Lastly for us Disney Addicts, Emma Stone gained nominations for her work on TV show Maniac and her supporting role for The Favourite along with costar Rachel Weisz.  Disney fans must be beyond excited over these nominations!

Viewers will be able to see the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards live on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 8pm EST on TNT and TBS.  No word yet on if this year’s ceremony will feature a host rather than their traditional presenters who also act as an emcee.
