The Perfect Friday Afternoon at Disney Springs Pizza Ponte and Drinks at The Edison. Pizza Ponte, which shares the same building as Marie & Enzo’s serves the largest pizza slice at Walt Disney World, and it holds its own against New York City Pizza. So when you hear through a rumor mill that they will be celebrating National Pizza Month at 3:14 PM (get it? Pi O’clock) you should just head over. Even if you don’t get a free slice, it is still worth getting the pizza.+
After stuffing ourselves at Pizza Ponte, it was onto The Edison. Both restaurants are owned and operated by Patina Restaurant Group. Designed to resemble an abandoned 1920s power plant, this cavernous, split-level space boasts all of the ingredients for a memorable lunch and dinner—or an epic evening out. Taste testing the new Halloween Themed drinks turned into a fun night and some tasty cocktails. Let us share some of the highlights.

The Pink Ribbon
The Pink Ribbon is made with Herradura Reposado (Top Shelf Spirit), watermelon juice, lime juice, fresh muddled raspberries, and mint leaves. A mocktail version will also be available, including watermelon juice, lime juice, muddled fresh raspberries, and mint leaves
Pumpkin Spice Forever
Inspired by fall’s iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte, The Edison has created a delicious high-roller cocktail for the season. Made with The Edison’s blend of Stoli Elit vodka, Borghetti espresso liqueur, Faretti biscotti liqueur, pumpkin spice, and black walnut bitters — froth and all — the Pumpkin Spice Forever will leave guests feeling warm and fuzzy at first sip.
Blood Donor
Served in a blood bag, the Blood Donor combines Aperol, Solerno, Espolòn Silver, lime juice and simple syrup to make a vivid crimson concoction — eerie, yet delicious.
Eye Drop
The Eye Drop includes a blend of Absolut Citron, Cointreau, acid-adjusted simple syrup and cherry juice, garnished with a spooky eyeball.
All the drinks were perfectly made, and the theming of The Edison always makes it an enjoyable time. Having the Halloween specials added to the menu makes The Edison a go-to during the spooky season. Plus you have a chance to win something special if you take in the selfie wall they constructed. Easy enough to do since you will have your camera out the whole time, taking images to last you while you may are back home.
