The newest addition to the Disney Designer Collection is here, a Moana limited edition doll!
The design was in charge of Nontra Dull, who drew inspiration from her own life to create this masterpiece. Moana has a strong relationship with her Gramma Tala, and just like her, Nontra also has a strong relationship with her Khun Yai so she wanted to play tribute to that connection in her design.
Nontra’s grandmother played a huge role in shaping her life path, helping to nurture her artistic side. She taught her how to sew at a young age leading her to her career today, so a needle and a thread were Nontra’s version of the “Heart of Te Fiti.”

The details in Moana’s dress are stunning! The gown features embroidered details, fringed and sequined trims with a five ruffled skirt. And can we talk about the tapa print “wings”? such a nice detail.
I can’t get over this “Heart of Te Fiti” styled purse with golden accents and chain. Such a cool way to add that very important symbol in Moana’s story.
This Moana limited edition doll comes in an elegant window display packaging with gatefold cover, foil decoration, and magnetic closure plus a certificate of authenticity. So you can display it at home in her box if you prefer.
