The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival has made its grand return to the resort! This year the festival has introduced new marketplaces with new menus. Also, returning marketplaces are serving up new menu items that guests are quickly falling in love with.
The Garlic Kissed Marketplace has made its delicious return! A new item on their menu had our mouths watering the minute we heard about it. The new Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese with Nueske’s Bacon looked too good not to try. This mac did not disappoint! The dish is made with a white cheddar cheese sauce and is topped with Nueske’s bacon, red pepper Parmesan, and Panko crumbs. Every element about this dish was delicious and it was only $8.00!
Also on the Garlic Kissed menu is the Black Garlic Soy-braised Pork Belly Bahn Mi ($8.00) This dish is served on a mini French roll with seasoned mayonnaise and garnished with sliced jalapeños, pickled carrots, and daikon. Pair either of these delicious dishes with an Aperol Cocktail ($14.75). This cocktail is made with Aperol, vodka, ginger liqueur, Simply Grapefruit juice , Simply Orange juice and topped with ginger beer.
One thing if for sure, you have got to try the Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese at the Garlic Kissed Marketplace. Grab this dish and others like it at the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival! The festival runs through April 22, 2020.
