The cartoonish Muppet fountain outside of MuppetVision 3D in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been removed. Some makeshift shrubbery has taken its place.
We aren’t sure exactly why the fountain is missing but it coincides with the closure of MuppetVision 3D which is getting a refurbishment and is set to reopen next week.
Some elements of the fountain remain behind the shrubbery (as you can see above) which makes us suspect the fountain is receiving routine maintenance while MuppetVision 3D is closed.
Have you seen the makeshift shrubbery outside of MuppetVision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted on the return of the fountain!

I am so confused…but in a good way! For the longest time I thought I kept reading that the MuppetVision was closing…for good. Now to be honest, we haven’t been able to go for 2 years and with all the changes going on, I haven’t been keeping up with all the details of every little thing because it was bumming me out that we couldn’t go. We’re going this May, though! And now I read that the MuppetVision just went through refurbishment. You mean it’s NOT closing?? That would be great news indeed!
