‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Premiere Moved to March 1st 2023
The third season of The Mandalorian has been announced with a March 1st, 2023 premiere date!
The third season will show the Mandalorian and Grogu on a new journey. The teaser shown at Star Wars Celebration shows several returning faces for the Disney+ series. Not many details are revealed yet for the story, but we know it includes a trip to the planet Mandalore! Our hero is seeking forgiveness for removing his helmet, which is a violation of his creed, by going to the planet.

Currently, Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) has been cast in season three. During the Mandalorian portion of the Lucasfilm panel, Sackhoff confirmed that her character Bo-Katan would be making a return, teasing that she “may have some unfinished business.”
Production on the new season kicked off in October 2021 and filming wrapped in March 2022.
Jon Favreau created Mandalorian and is the head scribe and EP this season. David Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Rick Famuyiwa also EP.
