Have you been keeping up with the ”Arendelle Aqua” trend? It seems that when Disney drops a new color scheme it pops up everywhere and this light blue is no different. From spirit jerseys and wristlets to ice cream cones and Victoria sponges, this craze has pushed the creative limits. The latest place we’ve discovered it is over at the Grand Floridian’s Gasparilla Island Grill in the form of an Arendelle Aqua Cotton Candy Eclair. It’s quite a mouthful in more ways than one!
Outside of Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, eclairs are a rarity on Walt Disney World property, so that alone makes this dessert stand out. The flavors take that uniqueness to another level. This eclair is a traditional choux pastry filled with cotton candy mousse and raspberry curd, topped with white chocolate and sugar sprinkles, then finished off with a decorative white chocolate snowflake that would make Queen Elsa proud. The eclair is absolutely stuffed and will satisfy one or two guests, depending on how much sweetness you need.
Whether you’re a fan of Arendelle Aqua or not, we Disney foodies can agree that new snacks are worth checking out! If you’re heading over to the Grand Floridian, be sure and stop by the Gasparilla Island Grill for yourself. Grab this trendy eclair, while you still can, for $5.99 or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. We’ll just be over here dreaming about eclairs becoming the next big Disney trend.
