Good tidings for Christmas can be found this holiday season at The Edison. We were invited to try some of their amazing new holiday cocktails and were amazed by the variety of flavor. If this doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit then I don’t know what will. The Edison is always such an amazing spot and add some holiday decor and good cheer and we’re sold.
Here’s the Cocktail Menu:
Shake things up this winter with “The Last Coconut in San Juan,” a festive Sazerac cocktail featuring Hennessy VS, Malibu Rum, Faretti Biscotti, cinnamon cordial, simple syrup, half & half, coconut milk, and a dusting of ground cinnamon.
This packed the most punch and left us with a fun island Christmas vibe! Give me some palm trees and some Florida winter weather with this delicious cocktail.
Cozy up this holiday season with a steaming mug of “Hot Apple Pie,” a blissful brew complete with Stillhouse Moonshine, cinnamon cordial, apple cider, and garnished with a cinnamon stick for a crisp treat guaranteed to bring tidings of comfort and joy.
This had to be my favorite! It really made me want to curl up next to a fire and sip a few of these. If you need me I’ll be cuddling enjoy my holiday season with this.
Tis the season for “The Winter Waltz,” made with a jolly mix of crème de Cacao, Faretti Biscotti, a splash of cream, a drop of Woodford Chocolate Bitters, and topped with golden brown toasted marshmallows.
This was another delicious pick! It was sweet and reminded me of all the yummy cookies you enjoy during the holiday. Like the dessert of cocktails. It was really enjoyable and smooth.
“Deck The Halls” with boughs of holly to spread good cheer while sipping on this merry blend of Tanqueray 10, cranberry juice, cinnamon cordial, Angostura bitters, pineapple juice, Q Ginger Beer, and ornamented with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
This cocktail was an acquired taste. It was designed to taste like what you imagine when you think of Christmas. The rosemary is supposed to represent pine. It was still good but not my first choice. It did however taste like they described it to be.
The most wonderful time of the year calls for a glass of “Mellow and Toasted,” boasting Mellow Corn Whiskey, simple syrup, heavy cream, Woodford Chocolate Bitters, and a sweet dash of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract. It’s topped with a sprinkling of ground cinnamon and is decorated with one perfectly toasted marshmallow for good measure.
This was another crowd pleaser! The cinnamon was such an amazing touch! I could definitely imagine sitting around with family this holiday sipping some of these.
No matter which one you choose (or try them all! No judgment here we did) The Edison should definitely be a stop on your holiday plans. It’s the perfect spot to relax and have some drinks with friends and family and let the stress of the holidays go. Thanks again to The Edison for inviting us to try these amazing cocktails. We can’t wait to go back. You can try these amazing cocktails for the rest of the holiday season too, for more information you can visit The Edison’s website here.
