‘Pollyanna’ star Hayley Mills famously had her Oscar stolen from her London home in the late 80’s while she was in the U.S. filming for the Good Morning, Miss Bliss television series. The Oscar awarded to her was the last award ever presented for the category “the most outstanding juvenile performance during 1960” by The Academy for her performance in Disney’s Pollyanna, and now 6 decades later, Mills was surprised with a replacement Oscar.

The extremely rare replacement was presented directly to Mills by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science President David Rubin while she toured the AMPAS Headquarters in Beverly Hills. We are so glad to see Hayley Mills will get to display her well-deserved Oscar once again in her home!
