Before the end of 2021, Director Taika Waititi had announced that principal photography had wrapped on Thor: Love and Thunder, and now Marvel fans are eager to hear and see any new details regarding the highly anticipated fourth installment. Recently, Tessa Thompson shared a selfie featuring a close-up look at her new armor as the King of New Asgard in the upcoming film. Check out the photo below:

The new suit seems to feature iconic aspects of Thor’s previous costumes including the circular plates, angular cut leather and metal work, and a mighty chestplate to protect Asgardian Royalty. The suit appears to feature tones of black, white, and blue, with silver accents maintaining the same color palette as Valkyrie’s suit from the end of Thor: Ragnarok. IT also appears that Valkyrie’s braids also feature blue tips to match her cape inner lining. We are loving the new look!
Thor: Love and Thunder is currently set to premiere on July 8, 2022, and will star Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster/The Mighty Thor), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), and Christian Bale (Gorr the God Butcher).
