Team Members who are fully vaccinated at Universal Orlando are no longer required to wear face masks

Universal Orlando has updated their face mask policy for fully vaccinated team members recently. The new policy states that fully vaccinated team members are no longer required to wear face masks onstage, backstage, indoors, or outdoors.

Here are the details:

The health and safety of our Team Members and Guests are always our top priority as we maintain our phased approach to ease COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Effective Wednesday, November 17, we are adjusting our protocols as follows due to the lower community positivity rate:

• UPDATED – Team Members who are fully vaccinated:
  • Are not required to wear a facial covering, whether onstage, backstage, indoors, or outdoors – however, may continue to wear a facial covering in any situation if that is their preference
• Team Members who are not fully vaccinated:
  • Are required to wear a facial covering at all times while on property, whether working inside or outside, onstage or backstage
    • Includes pathways, breakrooms, conference rooms, cubicles, company vehicles, carts, shuttles, etc.
    • Includes when working outside the service complex on/near roadways
  • Are required to practice social distancing whenever possible
  • Facial covering may be removed when alone in a private office as well as briefly only during active eating and drinking
  • Team Members who have not completed their Vaccination Attestation requirement are considered unvaccinated
  We will continue to monitor conditions and align and adjust our protocols if required.

Please note team members may continue to wear a facial covering in any situation if that is their preference.
