Looking for a tasty way to learn about some exciting new Holiday Traditions from around the World? This November and December Epcot will feature an incredible chance to celebrate the Holidays around Epcot’s World Showcase!

Each pavilion will offer their very own joyful Folktales, Stories and Traditions of Holidays Past by taking you on a Magical journey into their unique and inspiring celebrations of the Season the Disney way!

As part of your amazing journey around the International Pavilions, the World of Epcot invites you to taste your way around the Globe as you enjoy a festive-take on these delicious Holiday Traditions for 2014!


  • Promenade Refreshments in the American Pavilion will be offering some “down-home” American cooking this Holiday Season featuring an all-in-one sweet potato waffle, topped with delicious roast turkey, and green bean casserole. This unique treat is being called a “Turkey Waffle”!
  • For a more traditional version, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be waiting after you sooth your sweet-tooth with some American Holiday favorites such as, freshly baked gingerbread men, sugar cookies, chocolate chunk cookies, piping hot chocolate, hot spiced apple cider and delicious peppermint bark! All of these treats are being offered by the Sugar and Spice Holiday Bakery just by the Candlelight Processional.
  • Don’t miss out on your chance to pay a visit to Father Christmas in the U.K. Pavilion‘s and try their seasonally-spiced hot Applejack Cider, lovingly blended with a touch of whiskey to light up your Holidays!
  • Epcot’s Canadian Pavilion is featuring some scrumptious Pecan-Maple Bark to get you in the spirit of the season Canadian style, you won’t want to miss it!
  • Helga tells amazing tales of the first Christmas tree in the Germany Pavilion. This is a great chance to taste German traditional favorites such as Fruit Cake and sip on some Glühwein (hot spiced wine) while you listen and learn some amazing new traditions.
  • Looking for a savory option to celebrate? Grab some Teriyaki Chicken Karaage – juicy, fried, chicken bites with a crispy finish, and teriyaki sauce! This treat is soon to be served by the Kabuki Cafe in the Japan Pavilion and is a great option to grab just before you catch the tales of the hollow-round Daruma doll and learn Japanese customs of the New Year!
  • Les Halles Boulangerie & Pâtisserie invites you to try a “Bûche de noël au chocolate” which is a mouthwatering chocolate cake rolled into the shape of a log and it’s a global favorite around the Pavilion! If Chocolate cake is just not your style, then you won’t want to miss out on L’Artisan des Glaces‘ creamy and delicious “Glace au apin d’epices” which is a festive French take on a gingerbread ice cream – both of these sweet treats are being featured by the France Pavilion beginning this November.
  • La Befana is waiting to share his Italian stories and tales of exiting Holiday’s past, snugly nestled in the Italy Pavilion. Be sure to stop by the Gelato kiosk to grab some Italian flavors of the season with some Panettone, (a sweet bread loaf) and sweet Moscato Wine and Ciocolata Calda (hot chocolate) before you settle in for a good story.
  • Mexico offers hot sweet tamales at La Catina de San Angel. This is a great opportunity to catch the Los Tres Reyes Mago, (the three kings) as they tell of their amazing journey and festive traditions of Mexico.
  • The Norway Pavilion is celebrating the Season with some traditional Rice Cream from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. While your there, be sure to listen in on the enchanting tales of the Christmas gnome all the way from Norway.
  • Enjoy the celebration in China while trying some Kaikouxiao (happy face fried cake) offered by the Joy of Tea kiosk and don’t miss out on watching the agile Monkey King celebrate Chinese New Year!

Each of these stunning meal offerings and treats will be available in Epcot’s World Showcase during November 28 – December 30 2014! Don’t miss out on this Magical way to celebrate your Holiday in Walt Disney World this year!
