We’ve been missing our Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, but the good news is that the Tambu Lounge has now officially reopened! The best spot to get a drink and a great view in the Resort has been out of commission since the parks closed in March.
While everyone has been buzzing about all the changes coming to one of the classic Disney resorts (the Polynesian that is being updated with a Moana theme), let’s not forget that there are a few things that never need to change: like Ohana and the Tambu Lounge! Although the menu at Tambu Lounge is currently limited (sorry, no Ohana Bread Pudding!) it is still worth stopping in. Appetizers such as California Rolls, hot wings, flatbreads, and pork ribs are available for munching between 4 and 9 PM. If you’re looking for a cocktail, you can order from a more extensive menu of favorites like a Mai Tai, Long Island Iced Tea, Mojito, Disney’s famous Pina CoLAVA, and more. Of course, there are a variety of beers, wines, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages as well. Worth noting is the fact that you can order Hawaiian beers here such as Maui Brewing Co. Pineapple Mana Wheat and Kona Brewing Co. Big Wave Golden Ale. No matter what you choose, you’re sure to feel like you’re on a faraway island.
Head over to Disney’s Polynesian Resort to check out the Tambu Lounge. Enjoy the atmosphere of a tropical paradise and scroll through Chip and Co.’s latest news. It’s open now so there’s no need to wait, except to be seated!
