Disney has confirmed that 20th Century Fox is no longer overseeing the adaptation of the book, “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and that Disney has taken over the project. Judith Viorst’s classic picture book has been adapted a few times in the past; namely, by HBO
