Swiss Family Treehouse – Explore the ultimate treehouse—and behold breathtaking views—inspired by the classic Disney film, Swiss Family Robinson. The treehouse has reopened after a short refurbishment. Located near the entrance to Adventureland and across from Sunshine Tree Terrace. It features rooms such as the family’s bedrooms, kitchen, jungle lookout, and the water system the family built.
Previously Disney had announced it would close March 12, 2021 and reopen on March 25th, 2021.

There is normally no wait for this attraction, and recently due to social distancing the queue has been used for Jungle Cruise line. Don’t make the mistake of overlooking this walkthrough attraction. On the other hand, do not let your husband lose or you may not find him for half an hour as he relives his childhood wishing he would be shipwrecked with 2 Great Danes, and a monkey!

When the Magic Kingdom opened at Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 1971, the Treehouse was one of the original attractions. Guests walk through scenes from the original movie.
The 1960 film tells the tale of a shipwrecked family, building an island home in a treehouse, wrangling with pirates, and dealing with dangerous animals.
A version of the Treehouse can be seen at Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.
